Soul Food, Spanish moss, barbecue, southern hospitality ... yes such a place does still exist and it's called the Deep South. Southern Charm is a term that is still bandied about and this is where it all started. From Civil War history to smokehouses and fried chicken, and stately plantations to beautiful sand beaches, there's enough to keep you busy here for a long time.
