Jamaica

Legendary home of reggae music, jerk chicken and a laid-back lifestyle, Jamaica is a wonderful country to visit, offering one of the most distinctive cultures anywhere in the Caribbean. The most popular resort area in Jamaica is Montego Bay, or MoBay as it is affectionately known. Lying on the northern coast of the island, and home of the largest of the two international airports, MoBay is home to a wide range of luxury resorts, as well as family-style hotels, loads of local attractions and the sheltered Doctor’s Cave Beach, one of the most famous beaches on the island.
Even more laid-back than Montego Bay, the north-west coast resort area of Negril is home to 10 kilometres of white-sand beaches, and another 10 kilometres of soaring sea cliffs, providing a dramatic and beautiful backdrop to some of Jamaica’s most exclusive resorts.
Lying on the north coast of Jamaica, the resort of Ocho Rios has become a popular tourist destination, thanks to the beautiful beaches and the lush tropical surrounds. The region is also famous for the stunning waterfalls, including the 180-metre cascading steps of Dunn’s River Falls.

Dunn's River Falls

Situated in Ocho Rios, Dunn's River Falls is one of the best known attractions in the area. You can either climb to the top with a guide (200 metres) or walk alongside the falls. There is a beach at the base of the falls where the river meets the ocean. This is an attraction the whole family can enjoy.

Also located in the Ocho Rios region, the Blue Hole is a beautiful and serene natural attraction. Just 30 minutes from Ocho Rios, the Blue Hole is part of a river where the water cascades creating pools of about 7 metres deep. There is even a small underwater cave under the falls.
