Cairns Northern Beaches

A Haven of Peace and Tranquility

Located only a short drive from Cairns, the northern beaches offer the perfect location for a sea-change getaway, while still being convenient to the city and all it has to offer.

Soak up the village atmosphere of Trinity Beach, a haven of peace and tranquility in its own private cove, where you can spend the day relaxing on the pristine, palm-fringed beach, or strolling along the charming boardwalk, edged with landscaped tropical gardens, rest areas and children's playgrounds. The beaches are protected by beautiful coral quays, so the ocean is flat and waveless, making it a great place to take the children for some safe swimming.

Explore the fascinating rock pools at the southern end of the cove and discover the abundant marine life. Keep your eyes peeled for crabs and star-fish, and even some curious turtles.

With restaurants to suit every taste and budget, from humble fish-and-chip shops to gourmet cuisine, it doesn't matter if you're a group of friends, a family, or honeymooners looking for something special, as you'll always find something delicious to eat with fantastic views, friendly local service and a relaxing tropical ambience thrown in for free!

  2. Take in the View: Climb the stairs to the Amoaroo for a perfect lookout at sunrise or sunset.
  3. Know your Seasons: November to May is stinger season, so enjoy your water activities within the purpose-built stinger enclosure.
