SUN, SEA AND SAND
Vanuatu is made up of around 80 islands that stretch 1,300km, providing plenty of opportunities for exploring and experiencing remote and rugged islands, deserted beaches, ancient culture and world-class diving.
The capital Port Vila, located on Efate Island, is the liveliest town in Vanuatu. There are plenty of touring and adventure activities available from here, plus bars, restaurants, markets and accommodation options.
Vanuatu's 'second city' is Luganville on Espiritu Santo, a 50 minute flight north of Efate. It is Vanuatu's largest island and has amazing blue holes, caves, diving, snorkeling, kayaking and trekking adventures to be had, or beautiful white sand beaches to enjoy.
Tanna, a 45 minute flight to the south of Efate, is best known for the Mount Yasur volcano which is one of the world's most accessible volcano's. A safari tour will take you right up to the rim of the crater. There are also stunning waterfalls, underwater caves, beautiful coral reefs and even wild horses!
